Lundi grunge no 1 / Grungy Monday no 1

Linda's challenges are back and I am very happy about that. We will continue the journey by paying tribute to Tim Holtz. I am a fan so I am delighted about that fact.

The inspiration source of challenge no 1 is a tag from Tim:

In Quebec, we just received a batch of Tim Holtz's new products. So I had the plaisure to try out my new set of stamps "Haberdashery" and my new Sissix die "Mini scallop & pinking". The background is created following Tim's instructions for the tag . I used masks and a mix of turquoise perfect pearls and faded jeans ink. I then sprayed a cloud of sunflower sparkle perfect pearls mist. I did the mannequin in black sparkled embossing powder and then rubbed it with turquoise perfect pearls. I made my own embellishments with my new set of stamps, one fancy preserve cover and one of Tim's flowers and ribbon that I colored with distress ink. In fact I followed Tim's instructions as described on his blog but I worked the "couture" theme.

Bonne journée!
have a good day!

It's really fun to contrast his original with your creation. You used the techniques so perfectly, and made something romantic and girly and altogether gorgeous! I just love it, my dear.
