Lundi grunge no 8/ Grungy Monday no 8

For this 8th challenge, Linda of Studio L3, asks us to try the watercolor technique using Adirondack inks. To know more about this technique I invite you to visit Tim Holtz's blog.

I used 2 colors of Adirondack Dye Inks- Sunset Orange and Sailboat Blue for this project because they are the only colors I have. I had to practice to arrive at this controled watercolor effect . Tim warned us not to use detailed images with this technique. I had to spray less water on my stamp to preserve certain details. The bird and gears are cut withTim's Alterations dies and the stamp is from Tim also (Stampers Anonymus) . The alphas are" Mini Types" from Cosmo Cricket.

I really like the watery feel of the bottom part of this picture. have a good day!
