Pour la technique de cette semaine j'ai choisi de travailler avec une forme de chat de Magenta. Cette forme a fait appel à une photo souvenir de ma chatte "Coucoune" qui nous a quitté en 2008. Je voulais que mes couleurs s'harmonisent avec le panier ainsi que ses yeux. C'est pourquoi j'ai pris les couleurs de "Dabbers" suivantes: terra cotta, sunset orange, copper, citrus et snow cap. J'ai utilisé des étampes de Tim Holtz. Des fleurs et des feuilles de Prima ainsi qu'une breloque de métal complètent le tableau.

For this weeks challenge I chose to work with this nice chipboard cat form from Magenta. This form called for a souvenir of my cat "Coucoune" who is no longer with us since 2008. I wanted to harmonise my paints with the basket colors and the colors of her eyes. That's why I chose "Terra Cotta, Sunset Orange, Copper, Citrus and Snow Cap dabbers to do the background technique. I used Tim Holtz Stamps. Prima flowers and leaves and a metal trinket were used to embellish my project..

Coucoune aimait beaucoup son confort et elle montait toujours sur la table lorsque je bricolais dans la salle à manger. Elle adorait dormir sur du papier! Quand elle était jeune elle a sauté dans un pot de peinture. Je crois qu'elle avait une âme d'artiste.

Coucoune, my cat, loved her comfort. She always came up on the kitchen table when I was doing some crafts. She loved to sleep on paper! When she was just a baby she jumped into a can of paint! I think she the soul of an artist.
